The Academic Secretariat
The Academic Secretariat assists the Rector in implementing policy and decisions of the Senate and University committees.
Key areas of activity of the Academic Secretariat:
General Secretariat:
Formulate academic procedures and rules including updates and changes;
handle academic and administrative issues unresolved by TAU units, handle irregular student problems from an academic and administrative aspect;
coordinate with disciplinary committees for staff and students, Education verification.
Issue copies and translations of diplomas into English
Senate Office:
coordinates Senate academic committees
Academic Faculty Office:
appointments and promotions of academic faculty;
handle issues of academic administration at the University including: sabbaticals / teaching exemptions / unpaid leave, criteria, external work and more
Research Students Office:
handle research student affairs, postdoctoral students, and subsistence scholarships for advanced degrees
Funds and Scholarships Office:
handle external funds and scholarships
